Hi there, and welcome!

I’m Kayli —a mama to three adventurous boys, wife to my husband Kyle, and an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) serving families here in the beautiful St. Croix River Valley.

My “Why”

When I began my own breastfeeding journey, I didn’t have access to a lactation consultant and relied on Dr. Google to troubleshoot challenges. I wasn’t aware of the resources available to me—and in my area, there weren’t many.

When my son, Bodie, was about a year old, I knew something needed to change. I approached senior leadership at the medical center where I worked and asked them if I could build a lactation program. That’s when I dove into formal education and began supporting infant feeding in 2018. After years of hands-on experience, I officially became an IBCLC in 2021. My journey led me here—to creating River Valley Lactation—so that no parent has to navigate breastfeeding alone like I did.

Why River Valley Lactation?

In 2024, I took the leap and started River Valley Lactation to make lactation care more accessible, personalized, and judgment-free. While working in a clinic setting, I saw firsthand how difficult it could be for families to come in for support—sometimes, the office just wasn’t the right fit. That’s when my dream of in-home care was born. There’s something truly special about meeting families where they’re most comfortable and helping them thrive in their own space.
